My wife, Maren, and I are high school sweethearts who have been married for 20 years. We are the proud parents of two incredible sons. Our journey brought us to the Central Coast of California when I transitioned to a new career opportunity after being honorably discharged from the United States Army.
I proudly served in the U.S. Army for 5 years and 8 months, completing two overseas deployments. Following my second deployment, I was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious service—an honor that truly humbled me. My time in the military instilled a strong foundation of skills and work ethic that continue to guide me today. The Army's core values—Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage—are principles I still live by.
The year 2020 brought many challenges, but it also pushed us to pursue a lifelong dream. Maren and I took a leap of faith and launched M4 Specialties, LLC, determined to grow together as entrepreneurs.

M4 Specialties Team Update - Entering 2025 with Gratitude!
As we step into 2025, we do so with immense gratitude! Our small but mighty micro DVBE has been a blessing—not only to our family but also to those we serve. We are thankful for the opportunity to provide essential goods with excellent customer service to our valued clients.
Daniel and Maren continue to refine and implement changes to improve operations, always striving to learn and grow as small business owners. Every day is an opportunity to take action, adapt, and build a stronger foundation for M4 Specialties.
Owen is thriving at Chico State, studying Construction Management. He finds time to play a few rounds of disc golf on the weekends and is setting his sights high for the next chapter after graduation.
Kos is making the most of his time at AGHS—he keeps growing (seriously, the boy is tall!) and was thrilled to be invited to play varsity football for playoffs this past season. In the off-season, he's focused on track and field, hitting the gym, and working hard to keep that Spanish grade solid!
